So here's the full deal. IRL, I live(d) with a roommate. We're both young, unsuccessful, early twenties types, so money is tight. Since there were two of us though, we split rent and could afford internet and cable (split 50/50 for all you non-Math types out there). But then, my roommate got a job in another city, about an hour away. So he decided to move out and I decided to live on my own again. What this means, is that I may not have internet for the foreseeable future. It's supposed to be shut off anytime in the next few days, not sure when, so I might not be able to post for much longer. Once I get settled in my new place, I'd like to get internet, but I'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, I can use the internet at my college, but I'm only there twice a week, so it doesn't really pay. I can't stay active posting only twice a week, at most.
Bottom line is that be without internet for a few weeks to a month, at least. I'd like to come back, I just don't know when that'll be. So Captain Lerajie is officially on the shelf, as far as I'm concerned. If anybody else wants him, you're welcome to him. When/if I come back in a month or so, I wouldn't mind bringing him in then, but we'll see.
As for Rid, I officially bequeath him to my fellow elder, Skipper. I'd like to see Rid remain on the roster in case I come back, but you can just bump him down to crewmember. It makes sense, you know? Skipper can do what he likes with Rid, as long he abides by the following rules:
1) No killing Rid.
2) Stay true to his character.
3) No losing any fights to Vorai with Rid.
4) In the event of a confrontation with Vorai, Rid must attempt to get in the last word.
5) In the event of a confrontation with anybeast, including Vorai, Rid must, at some point, threaten to "break their legs." You may open with this, if it makes it easier.
6) If in doubt at any point, just ask yourself, "What would Rid do?"
There we have it. I've enjoyed my time here, even if I wasn't that well liked. Hopefully, I'll see you all again soon. It's been a slice.
