I'm from a long way away. **the pile is almost complete, and she adds the last few shards. she scoops it into a dustpan and stands awkwardly. tipping the shards into the bin she says** Thank you for your assistance.

Bloodpaw stood up a little stiffly. He smiled at the fox. "It was my pleasure miss." He walked back over to the bar where Natasha was sitting. "Sorry about that, but I can not not answer the call of someone who needs help."

Natasha watched as Bloodpaw helped the vixen, whom she heard call herself Sunce, with a slightly moved expression on her face. Most pirates wouldn't express that kind of chivalry towards another of thier kind. She took another sip of her rum, savoring the burning spicyness of the liquid as it passed over her tongue and down her throat.
" That was very kind of you." Natasha commented when Bloodpaw came back to the bar. And indeed it was very kind of him, and it was a sight she had not seen for a long while.

Bloodpaw shrugged. It had been no big deal. He believed all creatures were equal... or at least all pirates were equal. He took a swig of his grog and shook his head. " that is pretty good stuff." He leaned his head back with his eyes closed in ecstacy.

Natasha suddenly did something very out of the ordinary. Well, not really out of the ordinary because she always did random and slightly insane things most of the time, and this was one of those times. " Hey, Sunce, right? You and your partner would be a welcome addition to our conversation here." Natasha invites the vixen and her partner politely, gesturing to the two empty barstools beside her.

**Sunce grins and gestures at her rat partner to follow, as she stands and hobbles over almost as quickly as if she was perfectly healthy.**Invitation accepted, Natasha, if I am correct? **she winks and sits down next to Natasha, her partner sitting on the next stool** This is Ay, he's very shy. **she gestures to the rat, who smiles bashfully** Good to meet you both. **Sunce says, and holds out a paw to shake**

Natasha shakes paws with Sunce, smiling politely. " Nice to meet you as well, Sunce, Ay." She didn't really know what else to say, so she asked the usual question that people asked when meeting someone for the first time.
" So, what are you two doing up here in the Northlands?" She asked, taking the rest of her shot of rum in one gulp, savoring the intensity of it's flavor.

**Sunce thinks for a moment, then says** well, I had a little altercation with some people from another crew, annd I ended up getting a tad seperated from my crew by being in a fight somewhere in this place.
They sent Ay to get me, they are docked somewhere else, but we're supposed to be getting a lift. Turns out they're no-shows, so we're pretty stuck.
Decided to come here to have a drink an' all, wait a bit longer for them to get us. it's a lot more fun now we have extra people to talk to. **she smiles, as does Ay. Sunce takes a sip of her drink, Ay has already finished his so he pours a little more**

Natasha nodds, understanding; the same thing had happened to her once, and she remember how much it had sucked. She looks at the bottom of her empty shotglass, staring through it at the woodgrain countertops of the bar. She wasn't thinking much, her mind having an edge of fuzziness to it from the alchohol, but not enough to really hinder her thinking process. She just didn't have much to think about.... Except him. Natasha clenched her teeth together as the wave of emotions, - anger, sadness, lonelyness, love - passed over her, settling calmly at the back of her mind.
Natasha looked over at Sunce and Ay. They seemed happy enough, but she knew that if Andre and she were together, their affections for each other would be a thousand times more noticable. Natasha's love for Andre even now was almost unbearable, it was such a large part of her being. She tried to put him to the back of her mind and focused on Sunce and Ay.
" If you need a lift, me and my crew would be more than happy to give ya one." Natasha offered. She had no place to go in particular, so she decided that helping these two out would be a good thing for her to do. If but for the sake of her sanity. " Honestly, it's not any inconvenience, so why not, eh?" She smiled at the pair like old friends, and poured yet another shot of rum. The night was getting better and better.

**Ays face breaks into a big friendly smile, revealing the premature crowsfeet covered by his fur. He takes another sip of his drink and looks at Sunce questioningly**
**Sunce smiles too, and replies**
Sure, that would be great! the crew we were getting a lift with weren't that great, but this should be fun. **She goes to gulp the last bit of her drink, but is stopped by a sudden yawn. as her mouth opens wide you can see, on the inside there is an ugly scar on the roof of her mouth.**
wuh, don't know where that came form, I aint even tired yet.
