Anybody else here like football? I'm a huge Seattle Seahawks fan, they're the best team ever. They've held the NFC West Division for some time.

I love the NE Patriots. I don't even live in NE.

Sorry, but there is absolutely no comparison between the NFL and it's better cousin to the north, the CFL. Our game is faster, harder, and way more fun too watch. Plus, we don't have to deal with our players being criminals (ie, many of the Cincinnati Bengals), overpaid egotistical maniacs (Terrell Owens), or whiny pretty boys (Tom Brady). I know it's hard to hear, but it's the truth. We also have the oldest football franchise in the WORLD, as well as the greatest quarterback to ever play the game, Damon Allen. Although, to be completely honest, Allen retired last year.

And, Damon Allen is NOT the best. There are many way better than him in the NFL. Dan Marino, Peyton Manning, TOm Brady, these are three that are better than him. Oh, didn't Ricky Williams play in the CFl for like half a season?

What about Joe Montana? My favorite Quarterback is Matt Hasselbeck for Seattle, he was number seven out of all the NFL's QBs last year. Has anybody heard of Lofa Tatupu?

Yea, Montana was amazing. As for Lofa Tatupu, the name sounds familiar, but I can't put my finger on it... Hm.
Hasselbeck is really good. Only thing is, he is getting older. Favre is good, but it seems he can't make up his mind. Oh yea, Favre is better than Damon Allen, too. XP
As for me, my favorite team is San Diego. NOT just because they have Tomlinson, but because I really like their team. They play fair, don't get in trouble, and their coach is a good coach.
As for my favorite player, I like Peyton Manning. He is really nice, and an amazing QB.

I just don't like Tom Brady because of what he did after last year's Super Bowl. After an almost perfect season, Brady lost the Super Bowl and then moped around and didn't go to the Pro Bowl. No one at the Pro Bowl had had such an awesome season as Brady, but he was too 'depressed' from his loss in the final to go. Whatever.
And Fang, this isn't opinion, it's fact. Damon Allen has more passing yards in his career than ANYONE. Dan Marino, Brady, Favre, Manning, Moon, Aikman, Montana, Eiason, Flutie, anyone. Look it up. He had a twenty two year career. Sure, Peyton's awesome (I love his SNL stuff), but you can't discount Allen's longevity and constant production. Not only that, he also ranks 15th on the alltime rushing list in both the CFL and NFL combined. He won the CFL's Most Outstanding Player award when he was 42 years old.
Also, there are several important rule changes in the CFL that make it way more fun to watch. Less time between the plays prevent the game from dragging and slowing down. The bigger field and unlimited movement in the backfield lead to a more offensive game. With only three downs, the CFL lends itself to more 'big' plays that help build excitement. The CFL rarely has low scoring defensive struggles and late game comebacks are easier, since, with only three downs, it is harder for the leading team to kill the clock. Finally, the CFL game has never gone for the Fair Catch rule, which makes Special Teams not only more important, but way more exciting. Just a few years ago, the NFL was crazy about return specialist Devin Hester and how exciting he was. In the CFL, he would see way more action.
And yes, Ricky Williams was in the CFL for a season. Toronto brought him in while he was suspended from the NFL. He didn't do so well. No one was really sure why, but I think the simple answer is that Ricky just isn't the player he was when he was first drafted into the NFL. It's probably got something to do with all the marijuana he's been smoking. Or maybe that massive Rob Zombie beard slows him down. Who knows?

I agree with Rid, Tom Brady is not cool at all. He's a sorry loser, too bad for his 'perfect season.' Eli Manning beat him. XD
Favre is one of my favorites too, it's awesome he's playing for New York now. Hasselbeck and the Seahawks are going to get pretty far this year, hopefully. Lofa Tatupu is a Linebacker for Seattle, I'm pretty sure he's considered on of the best in the NFL. That's one reason the Seahawks are really good, they have a strong defense and an awesome passing/rushing game.
