A not so triumphant return...

[Firestripe]

*Firestripe leaned forward, put his elbows on the desk, propped his head up on his paws and just stared into Scarlet's eyes, smiling the whole time. They were beutiful, more than he'd ever noticed before. In all honesty, Firestripe looked love stricken. If there was ever a contest for who could look like that the most, he probably would've won it. He didn't know what to do at this point but he didn't really care either, he just kept staring into her eyes, seemingly getting lost in them. He couldn't figure out what to say, couldn't figure out what to do, couldn't figure out much of anything. He just kept gazing...*

OOC: Yeah, kinda a cruddy post but I have no idea what to do now... so... you figure it out!

Scarlet also leaned onto the desk. Thier faces were only a few inches apart. Her heart sped up a beat or to as she anticipated a kiss coming on. She smiled. This was probably the happiest day in her life, it even came before the day she got Boom and Bang. And that was amazing as it was. She sighed with happiness, staring into Firestripe's eyes. Being a very in controll kind of person, she leaned the rest of the way forward, and they kissed.

(OOC: Yeah, no details on the kissing as you can see.... Ew.)

*Firestripe had been about to move in himself the rest of the way when Scarlet had taken the lead and done so herself. It was great, they held the kiss for a good while before it finally ended.* "Wow..." *Was all Firestripe could think to say, it been the first time he'd ever kissed a beast and it had been good, not good, great. Almost as soon as he'd finished his one word sentence, he leaned forward a little more and entered into another kiss. He was just realising how much he actually did like Scarlet. He liked her a heck of alot. He knew that, if the opportunity provided itself, he'd give his life for her. He was pretty much love sick.*

Fang, as devious as he was, held a cup up to the door of the Captain's cabin. He soon found out that it wasn't working and the sounds he heard were mumbled, but he heard: "Firestripe, I think I like you... And nothing else. "Son of a --" On the last word he threw the cup on the ground and it broke. "Crap!" He said. There was a loud noise and he hoped he wouldn't be caught. Fang tip-toed downstairs to his hamock and pretended to be asleep.

(Sorry, nothin' else ta do... I tried to make it interesting... XD)

OOC: Oooo if it wasn't Scarlet's turn to post I'd have had Firestripe come flying out of there to beat the crap out of Fang... as it is, though, your lucky for the moment. That is, at least, as untill Scarlet get's on and posts because I am expecting her to also want to beat the crap out of Fang, at least, that's what I'm hoping.

OOC: That's.... a lovely thought... But Fang left like a ninja!

I was thinking of having another crewmember walk there and have him clean up the mess, but then HE would get yelled at, and I wanna see what they'd do to Fang.

Scarlet had never kissed anybeast before in her life, so this was a totally new experience for her. Scarlet returned the second kiss and held it for a moment before breaking it off. "Wow.." She blinked a few times, and smiled. "That was-" She didn't get a chance to finish her sentence as she heard the noise outside her door. She stood up, scraping her chair backwards as she did so. " What the....." She walked around the desk and across the room, opening the door. All that could be seen was a broken clay cup on the floor. She stepped around the mess and out into the hall. " Hey, somebeasts been listening in on our conversation.... Oh, they're gonna pay...." She walked over to the stairs that led to the crew's quarters and descended them.

[Firestripe]

*Firestripe was more than a tad angry. Whoever it had been outside the door had just ruined the best moment in his life. He followed Scarlet as she started out the door and down the hall.* "There was only one beast that knew we were talking..." *He said, not bothering to actually say the name out loud. He knew Scarlet would catch his drift. The only one that knew they were talking was Fang. Every other beast on board had been asleep as far as Firestripe knew. Oh, Fang is gonna get it when we find him... he thought to himself with anger. For one, he didn't like the fact that Fang would listen on a private conversation between a captain and a first-mate. Second off, the subject matter itself made Firestripe ready to belt Fang a good one right across the face.*

Fang had a feeling they were on to him. He decided to walk out and talk to them, and see if they noticed anything. Scarlet probably knew... Sodid Firestripe, but he wasn't sure. Fang walked out of his cabin and walked pass them, throwing a quick nod to them. "I'll be up on if you need me, Cap." he said. He jogged up the stairs to the deck and got a view from the ocean. Wow, it sure was beautiful.

As soon as Fang passed her Scarlet ran up to the deck after him. "You!" She snarled at him, her voice dripping contempt. " You listened in on us, didn't you?! You little wretch, you'll pay for this, disrespecting the Captain's privacy!" She was furious, almost to the point where she wanted to keel haul Fang(lol). She bared her fangs threateningly at Fang, a sure sign that told him he better watch his mouth before he said something stupid...... If he did it might be the last thing he ever said.
