[Scarlet]

The tingling, buzzing sensation in the back of Ari's head grew more intense, threatening to overwhelm him. He tried his best to guard his expression, but he knew that his anger was like shards of ice in his eyes now as he stared the ferret down with a cold expression on his face. His grin faultered, his confidence wavering. It wasn't that he was scared, oh no, far from it. He was worried. Even as tough and mean looking he might be, even as skilled with his pistol and cutlass as he is, he didn't enjoy killing creatures. Sure, scare them a bit, cut them a little, beat them up and shatter their pride. But killing was never his favorite thing to do; and when he got angry enough, there was no stopping him.

" You've got a sorry mouth on your ugly mug, don't ya?" He commented, his right paw on the handle of his pistol, and his left paw hesitating slightly at the hilt of his cutlass. His tone was angry, maybe somewhat incredulous. This ferret was really looking to be in trouble. Bad trouble. " If you want fun, you might want to go searching somewhere else; As I said before, I'm no fun." His eyes never left the ferret, watching warily for any sudden movements. This could get very ugly, very fast.

[Moonlit]

Firetail grinned and said "If you mean I know how to get people fired up then yes I do." He put away his dagger and approached the wolf. Walking past him he pinched his cheek and turned to him from the edge of the alleyway, a mischievious grin on his face. "Follow me. Im Firetail, first mate of the Wavescar. I like your stuff. Maybe I could get you a position on the ship. So what do yah say? Wanna join the Wavescar's crew and travel the sea's?" He held out his paw and waited for the wolf to answer him.

That was it. Ari drew his pistol, cocking it and aiming it square at Firetail's head. Like he needed a job offer from this kid. " If you know what's good for you, you won't go around treating creatures like me like that. I didn't ask you for a position on your little toy boat the 'Wavescar', so if you're here to recruit, you might as well be asking dead beast." He snarled. " Now get lost before I do something..." He paused, a lethal grin curling his lip back from his sharp canines " Drastic." A vague darkness blurred the edge of Ari's vision; He knew if things kept up the way they were, he'd soon have the ferret's blood on his hands and a dead body to stash into a corner somewhere. The anger, the unreasonable, unrational, and pointless hatred, was too much for him to even try to control.

Firetail withdrew his paw and grinned. Slipping back on his full body cloak he laughed. "Heh, heh. Your loss. Not like we needed you anyways. Good luck with the rest of your lame life. Oh and heres this back. I swiped it when I went by." He threw the wolfs silver ear loop to him then with a last grin at him vanished into the crowd and went around gathering some information about different things. A rumor of a new blade being forged in a by a local blacksmith, a mercenary for hire, and the wolf especially. So far he'd found the basics. Name, age, ect. And he wasn't done with this wolf Ari. Far from it.
