Appearance: Seyda isn't very tall by ferret standards, only around average height and build. Even though he lacks the stature of most of the crew, he makes up for it in his stamina. He is also surprisingly strong, even if he doesn't look like it much, and the only reason he has any muscle at all, was his willingness to do a large portion of the harder work aboard the Nightpearl, which helped him shape up a lot more than before. Seyda has light forest green eyes that are beaming with enthusiasm almost all the time, except when he's in a life-threatening situation. He is bursting with energy, all of which he puts toward work and helping out the rest of the crew, from early morning to the dark of night. Seyda keeps himself looking presentable at all times, he makes sure his fur is straightened when he is on deck, and his clothing looks relatively clean despite the fact he does a lot of rigorous work. He wears simple clothes, nothing that matches the normal look of corsairs, instead he wears a light brown tunic, darker brown pants, and a pair of black sea-boots. Seyda doesn't have any tattoos except for one; a tattoo of a snake wrapped from his shoulder down to his paw on his right arm.
Personality
Seyda is lighthearted, often joking around with the crew, most of the time. He sometimes doesn't take things seriously enough, which is one of his major faults, the seemingly boundless energy gives Seyda an almost naive temperament. His enthusiastic nature is also a good thing, making him a hard worker, and one who reaches out for a higher standing aboard the Nightpearl. Seyda provides encouragement to his fellow crew, aiding them whenever they need his help. He acts bravely in the face of danger, no matter how badly the odds are stacked up against him, of course he also does his best to instill that same bravery in the crew. Not very much will make him back down, except a direct order from his captain, most others have trouble controlling him, mainly because they have trouble trying to earn his respect. Seyda takes pride in looking back over a completed assignment, he knows that his support helps things run smoothly on the Nightpearl. He also takes pride with his skills in sword combat, and due to many long hours of practice, he is among the finest sword fighters aboard, Seyda's skill with his Saber are unmistakable. Even though he has a lot of talent in those areas, Seyda remains humble, keeping in mind his place on the ship.
History
Seyda was born into a poor family that made their home in the port of Loamsdown. They kept themselves alive thanks to their hard work in the field of manual labor, and thanks to the generosity of one corsair. That corsair allowed Seyda to come along with him back to his ship, giving the young ferret a job helping the Bosun. From the age of eleven to sixteen, he served faithfully on that ship, until it was attacked by another crew of corsairs, Seyda only escaped because of his quick thinking, and he took an empty skiff and sailed away back to Loamsdown. He was unable to discover the whereabouts of his family, even after several months of a constant search. Seyda decided to return to the ocean where he belonged, and he enlisted aboard the Nightpearl. After four years there he had made his way the position of Third Mate, thanks to his work ethic and energy, and the trust he earned, along with the reason the crew respect him.
