Thanks guys. I recently bought a gaming desktop since my laptop wasn't quite cutting it anymore. So I prefer PC over console, but I still have (and love) my 3ds XL, modded psp, xbox 360, and ps3. Thinking of getting a wii u, but I think I'll wait until I see games on it I'd really want to play.

Oh yeah the wii u looks pretty cool. I'm working on getting my very first xbox 360, I only have a wii and a ps2 right now. What are some of your favorite PC games?

PC games-wise, my favorite would have to be League of Legends. I'm naturally competitive, so the "winning" aspect makes me enjoy the game. But then there's the Mass Effect series (still need to play #3 /sob), Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas (love it). Skyrim, and Guild Wars 2.

Ah 360 is pretty nice, but I hated that subscription thing you have to do if you want online capabilities. Otherwise some good games on it are Fallout (3/NV), Fable, Assassin's Creed, and Halo if you're into FPS.

I'm more of a 360 guy myself, and xbox live isn't that expensive, 60 for a year. Because we pay for it we have good connections for gaming and lot's of apps, we recently got internet explorer on there which is nice. As for the PC, I really don't game on it much since my laptop is, shall we say, not cut out for gaming. I have been playing Phantasy Star Online 2 quite a bit recently though, even if, technically, it hasn't been released to the western audience yet, lol (it's a japanese game, by the by). I do have a wii but not many games for it, mainly got it because that's what the Legend of Zelda series is on.

I just personally don't enjoy spending monthly fees unless it's really necessary or extraordinarily cheap. I've heard of Phantasy Star plenty on vg, seems cool. I don't really get into mmos easily. Guild Wars 2 was an exception. Tried WoW for a while, but after I hit level 32 I couldn't bear to play anymore. :g
