Sailing

[Firestripe]

*Firestripe was still on deck, keeping watch on the aproaching ship when he spotted another ship coming out of the mist. He cursed under his breath and walked quickly over to the galley door and threw it open. He spotted the captain and said in an urgent voice.* "Captain, we've got another ship coming our way!" *He wasn't scared, not in the least, he just didn't feel like getting the crew killed that day so that's why he put the urgency in his voice.*

[Scarlet]

Scarlet stood up, nearly upsetting a chair, and strode toward the door. " Another ship? Did you get a look at it?" She asked and, not waiting for an answer, strode out of the galley and took our her telescope. Though her telescope was the best to be found, she could not get a clear look at the ship and couldn't tell whether it was another pirate ship or just an unlucky merchant. She cursed and shoved the telescope back into her pouch. "Can't tell what it is, lets cross our claws that it is just a merchant." she said. She wasn't in the mood for a huge conflict between three pirate ships. Nor was she in the mood to lose any of her crew beasts.

[Thaiden Stormblade]

Thaiden spotted the ship too. It was closer to the NightPearl then to the Wavescar, so he couldn't make out a name or any crew. "Blast." he muttered. "It better not be anther raiding ship." Then again if it is maybe it'll attack the Nightpearl. Then after both ships are weakened I can take both. Or perhaps I can make a temporary alliance with it. No Scarlet will probably do that if either of us does since they're closer.

Thaiden continued to think as he came closer to the two ships.

[Skipper Of Sea Otters]

The Ship sailed directly into the middle of the two ships. Up on the deck appeared a tall muscular otter in a black, bloodstained, war-torn, seacoat. He has Scars from his waist to his face. There were even a few tattoos visible on his forearms. On his back there was a Massive two-handed sword attached to his back. He put his foot on the railing and grinned showing his razor sharp teeth. "Good mornin' mates!" he shouted over to the ship to his right. Suddenly from behind him there was what looked like a mass of sea otters gathering on the deck all with the same look on thier faces...Being ready to kill at anytime. "And how are we on the fine morning?"

[Scarlet]

Scarlet stood out on the deck, near the railing on the side closest to the Lancebreaker. As the ship drew closed, the dark looking otter called out his greetings. " Ah, we are as fine as the morning is as you claim it to be, and you?" Scarlet shouted roughly back, her arms bare, paws akimbo, and her long thick sash, ruffled by the wind, swirled around her leg. Her tail flicked back and forth in an aggitated manner, catching dew drops and creating a glistening fire on her tail. The muscles in her neck pulsed as she shouted the answer and the tattoo on her neck rippled. Her jaw was set sternly and her eyes shone like twin green fires, fierce and dangerous, a bright contrast to her shiny scarlet coat.

"Oh just fine Mate! Im curious though...What Is a fine maid such as yerself doin all the way out here?" he asked quiet curiously. The others on deck began tending to thier regular duties, such as Swabbing the deck...which they never did... Mending the sails...something else they never did...and making sure the bows are hidden and in good reach...

Thaiden watched the otter and fox conversing and muttered to his first mate "Get ready to board. I don't like the looks of that other ship."

[Scarlet]

Scarlet held her head higher and swished her tail, pleased with the compliment. " Call me Scarlet, if you will. We're headed south, to the Green Isles. Where be you headed?" Scarlet asked, curious as to why it just so happens that three pirate ships should all run into each other at the edge of a storm.

[Skipper Of Sea Otters]

"Well Scarlet tis nice ta' meet cha'! You can call me Skipper...or Skip if ya want. What am I doin' out here? I headed into the storm...looks like pretty fierce sailin' if ya ask me...Just what I like....aye..." he said. Beneath the boards of the deck next to the rail the had pikes stored for quick reach to prevent boarding. Anybeast attempting to board or scale the ship would have a pike stuck in thier side. This skipper had been around enough seasons to know prepare for the worst if it came to it. though right now he was in a trusting mood...

[Firestripe]

*Firestripe was standing a little ways behind Scarlet and to the right a little bit, mainly so he could be in sight of what was going on and close enough to do something if the Lancebreaker's crew tried anything. He had put his sword away but had a paw on one of his six barrled pistols still in it's holster, another safety precaution. Even so, it didn't look like they were planning on attacking though that could be hard to tell sometimes.* "I don't think they mean to attack us. Could be usefull to pair up with them if Thaiden decides to try and battle." *He wispered in a voice not loud at all but loud enough so that Scarlet could here him.*
