Scarlet smiled at the Otter, though anyone who knew her would know it wasn't quite genuine. " Hey, Undertaker, its nice to meet you!" She said prettily. Soon the cook and his assistant came from the galley, thier arms laden with soup bowls, though they only carried two sthingys; the crew was used to drinking the spoup from the edge of the bowls, instead of using utensils. Scarlet and Firestripe, however, always used utensils, being the classier beasts of the ship. Scarlet turned and grabbed the closest beast, a scrawny rat, and shoved a bowl in his hands. She pushed him towards the pot and told the cook to ladle out the soup to him. The other crewbeasts came forward for thier share, but Scarlet commanded them to stay back as the rat dumbly at the soup. Scarlet turned back to the otter, smiling again, " Ya can't be to careful with pirates, eh?". It was then apparent to the crewbeasts that the rat was making sure the soup wasn't poisoned, under Scarlets orders of course. She smiled again, and watched the rat as he ate the soup, and, consious of the eyes upon him, gulped it down nervously.

The Soup would taste hot indeed. It was made with Habberath Reddust...The hottest substance known to Beast. It would burn the throat and water does not help.... It the powder get on the fur an incredible Burning/ stingy sensation comes over the beast. Itching makes it worse and water makes it more intense. The only means of stopping the pain is to let it wear off(which can take several hours) or to drink a special liquid which all members of Habberath carry. All the Members of the Skippers holt were used to the Reddust though. "It is a little Spicy mate!" The Skipper Called over.
Undertaker Sighed "You let you gents and...Fine maids..."Smiled Undertaker at Scarlet. "...eat your meals. You may keep the pot...Its mine anyway...I can cut your name in it if ye want..." He said looking at Scarlet.
The Skipper would normally object to Undertakers behavior however it was a rarity he ever acted with such sanity and also the Skipper knew better than to interrupt Undertaker while he was in a good mood. Skipper gave a Sorry bout that nod to Scarlet.

*Firestripe snorted in amusement at that. -Who puts their name on stuff like that anyways?- he thought to himself. It looked like the rat trying out the soup would be ok, except for the burning sensation he was feeling, of course. Then again, he wasn't really surprised at that, otters tended to put really hot spices in their soups for some reason... either way, he was still wary of Undertaker. He seemed a good enough beast at the moment but also seemed slightly... crazy, if that was the right word. Strange more than crazy. Once again, Firestripe just stood there with his arms folded across his chest; in the same place he had been throughout this whole thing. Not saying anything, knowing it wasn't his place to say anything at the moment. His paw twitched slightly, wanting to have one of his pistols in it as a safety precaution though if he drew one of his six barreled pistols right now, it would set off a conflict that he did not want to happen.*
OOC: Pretty long post for him just standing there, huh?

Scar laughed. Inside her head, at least. She smiled at Undertaker once again and nodded in agreement. Why not get her name cut into it anyways? No harm in that, eh? " I'd be most pleased if you would, Undertaker. I'll have the pot cleaned then brought out to you." She said politely. Since nothing was happening to the rat, like choking, falling over or passing out, she beckoned for the rest of the crew to eat. They made a long line as each was doled out thier portion of soup. The cooks set aside the last two bowls for Firestripe and Scar, then took the pot into the galley and washed it. Then, under Scar's command, they brought it back out and set it down in front of the big otter.

Undertaker smiled as the pot was brought out. He reached in his haversack pulling out a small leather tinker kit. He sat down against the railing of the other shipUndertaker was quiet the craftsbeast. All of the otters in his royal line had skills such as these, and they took pride in it and everything they did. He took the Pot and looked at it carefully making the right marks with a piece of wet clay. "Give me a few hours..." he smiled looking at her.
The Skipper stared over from the other side of the gap with his paw under his chin. He didn't like undertaker over their but this was the first time Undertaker had actually acted sane. "Can ye Give me a few hours skip?" Undertaker called to the Skipper over his shoulder and the railing with the pot in his lap. "Sure Mate! We'll...uh...well...I guess we'll be fishing...Any you Mates over there care to join us?"

Scarlet, though the crewbeasts and Captain of the Lancebreaker looked friendly enough, still had her doubts as to weather it would be safe to leave the ship or not. Throwing her doubts aside, she decided that if worst came to worst she was still an excellent swordsbeast as were the majority of her crew, though none bested her. She could easily get herself out of a mess. And anyway, this was a chance to prove to some certain members of the crew, that she does not hide behind ship or crew. " Aye, I'll come with me first-mate and me best fisherbeasts!" Scarlet said cheerily, though she was prepared for the worst.

"Great!" shouted the Skipper with a happy look on his face. "Uh...Undertaker is over there....so...Blade! Get a fire going in the Galley! We're having fish tonight!" He shouted into the door going down to the galley. "But Skip!" shouted a voice back. "What?!" the skipper shouted back as he was about to get his fishing knife. "I cant cook! You know that!" The skipper sighed rolling his eyes. "Learn!!!!" he shouted back throwing the Laddle down the stairs at the Otters. "Yeouch!!!"
----
"I'll Stay here and work and this miss..." Undertaker said to scarlet before she left. He was still outlining a design on the pot before he made the initial etchings.

*Dantin was a bit dumbfounded. Why in the world were they going fishing? First off, it'd be even harder to keep the captain safe out on the water, especially if the sea otters decided to attack them. Two, there was still the matter of Thaiden being right on the other side of the Lancebreaker. A point which he brought up immidiatly.* "That's all well and good, captain, but what are we going to do about Thaiden?" *A valid question, to say the least. They couldn't very well go fishing and expect to stay safe with Thaiden's guns pointed right at them.*

Scarlet could've smacked herself in the face. Thaiden!. She was so surprised at the Lancebreaker and the giant otter and them offering the soup, Thaiden had slipped to the back of her mind. She reproached herself in her mind, angry that she could have forgotten about something so important. She clenched her teeth in frustration at herself. " I'll see where Skip stands on the matter of him." She turned back to Skipper " Ah, Skip, do ya happen ta know a Captain Thaiden?" She asked.
(OOC: Sorry its short, I have got very limited time online today and very often times its the same situation these next few weeks....)
