Vera

[Scarlet]

Scar sat on the railing of the ship, overseeing the loading of cargo. Every thing had gone smoothly since the incident with Fang, and they were docked in Forenway. Scar noticed they had run low on a few supplies, and recently bought some new cargo with the money from her stores. So far the loading of the cargo was going fine, so she just sat there idly swinging her paws over the edge of the rail.

[Firestripe]

*Firestripe wasn't currently at the ship. Actually, he was one his way back to the ship, carrying a large sack over his shoulder. Whatever was in it seemed to be extremely heavy and very large. Despite his usual self, Firestripe had a huge smile on his face. He was just so excited over what he'd just bought. It was the best buy he'd ever made and he couldn't wait to show it off. He finally reached the docks where the ship was docked and waved a cheery paw to Scarlet which must seem very odd seeing as how he hardly acted cheery.* "Hullo Captain! Everything going well, I hope?"

(Sorry, if you don't want me in, I'll delete the post... I just have an idea... Sorta)

Fang was walking on the deck fine now. He still had a mark going diagonally from where his back hit the mast. He walked up next to Scarlet and leaned over the rail. "Scarlet... I'm sorry about our 'incident'... It was very wrong of me, and you can fire me if you want to... But I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry." He said in a very serious tone. "I'm gonna go buy some gun powder and cannonballs with some money I have... We're running low." He said. Fang jogged off the ship and went to the shipyard, with Vorai following him. They walked in and Fang said "I need cannonballs and Gunpowder." The clerk walked off to a room and brought out 4 packs of gunpowder and a large bin of about 150 cannonballs. Vorai dragged the bin of cannonballs out to the ship and up the ramp to the deck. Fang took two packs of Gunpowder, and the clerk had the other two and was walking behind him. They put the gunpowder next to the cannonballs and Fang paid the clerk. He had about 100 dollars left and walked up to Scarlet. He put the money in Scarlet's paw. "Here, keep it." He said then threw her a quick nod and walked away to the gun deck with their new supplies.

Scar was very surprised at Fang giving her the money. " You can't buy my forgivness, Fang." She said, looking sharply at him. Being the kind of creature that didn't forgive, she always held a grudge to every creature who ever did her harm. She saw Firestripe coming up and said. "Everythings going smoothly.... Whats that?" She said, pointing to the large thing he was carrying.

(OOC: Also, Fang, we buy things using coins, not dollars... Gold coins, copper pennies and silver coins.... And that is great that you joined the thread it makes it much more interesting!)

[Firestripe]

*Firestripe grinned as he walked up the gangplank to the ship and stepped over to Scarlet.* "What, this?" *He said, indicating the bag.* "Oh, it's just a little something that I figure might be extremely usefull." *He sat the bag down, untied the top, and pulled out a very large object. It looked like a cannon that had a heavily padded stock, grip, and trigger attached to it.* "So, whatcha think?" *Firestripe asked with an outrageous grin on his face. He was amazingly happy and the way he was acting could very well be scaring the crew. He hardly ever smiled, never grinned, as his smiles usually turned out to look more menacing than anything else, this was no exception. He looked like he was ready to kill somebeast and the device in his paws didn't help matters any.

Fang heard the comment and shrugged. "Buy yer forgiveness?" He laughed. He walked up to her and said in a low tone. "I gave you that money because I thought you deserved it after the way I acted. Take it or leave it." He said. He waited for an answer.

Vorai came jogging up and said: "Mornin' Cap'. Im gonna go do some buyin' o' myself." He gave her a wink. Vora jogged off to the nearest store. It was a big building. HE walked in and looked all over. He walked over to the clerk and said: "I need a nice, long-barreled pistol." THe clerk nodded and brought out 4. Vorai picked the nicest one. It had a silver barrel, could fire 8 shots before having to reload, and didn't jam that much. He paid the clerk then wanted to buy a new sword. HE walked over to the swords. "Ye got a Schiavona? OR a Flamberge?" The clerk nodded and brought out a schiavona. The clerk brought out a thick Schiavona. "Ill take it." Vorai said then paid him. He walked back to the ship with his new pistol, and a deadly blade used by mercenaries. He was happy. He passed Scarlet and gave her a nod.

She turned to Fang. She snarled and took the money. " You won't be treated any better for this, you know that? You are only making me richer, and losing money yourself. Foolish." She said in a menacing tone. Ever since the incident with Fang, she hated him. She did everything she could to make sure he got the lowest jobs on the ship from then on. She turned to Firestripe as he came up to her. She stared in awe at the weapon. " Where did you get that? Its beautiful...." She said, obviously greatly admiring the huge, strange weapon.

[Firestripe]

*Firestripe looked down at his new weapon with much fondness.* "Yeah, I call her Vera..." *He said then looked up at Scarlet, well, up relatively seeing as how he still had to look down to look at Scarlet's face. He noted the look on her face and smiled.* "So, I'm guessing you like it, yes?" *He was glad that she could appreciate it for what it was as much as he did. Actually, he hadn't even told her what it was yet, it just looked like a freakin' big gun... which was basicly what it was but that's not the point. It was more than just a gun.*

[Scarlet]

Scar smiled. " Like it? I love it! Its just so.... powerful looking. So you call it Vera, huh? Good name, it looks like a Vera. From the looks of it, its heavy..... Too heavy for me to carry?" She asked, a look of longing to hold Vera and use it agianst her foes.

[Mako]

"Like I care how I'm treated." He growled. "You're pathetic. Disgrace to the name of a captain." Fang spat on the ground right between her feet. "You're nothing but a pitiful puppy." He snarled. What?! You want to beat me up? Or you gonna have your boyfriend do the bidding again?" He said mockingly. "GO ahead. Give me a good beating." Fang leaned closer to her and tapped his cheek. "C'mon! Punch me right here." He said.
